THE LOVELAND FROG!

Aka Loveland Frogman!

This bizarre Cryptid is of course from Ohio!
First sighted in Loveland Ohio in 1955 and another in 1972 over a span of a week or so it terrorized Loveland Police Officers.
The Loveland Frogmen were said to be 4’ tall bipedal humanoid creatures, with leathery skin, webbed hands and feet, and a frog like face.
The first officer to see the creature was Officer Ray Shockey. He reported to have seen the creature in his headlights but when he went to pull over to take a closer look he sprinted into the corn field and out of sight.
It was later seen by Officer Mark Matthew. He too saw the creature in his headlights, it was standing by a guardrail of a small bridge. He exited his vehicle and shot at the creature. It jumped into the water and again was not seen by him again.

The 1955 account is even more bizarre.
A businessman driving home saw 3 of the creatures standing in the middle of the road under a bridge conversing. They appeared to be wearing suits, hats, and wielding magic wands. One creature held the wand above his head and sparks shot out of the top before they all disappeared! What were these things?
Was there something truly wrong with the water in Loveland? And not with the frogs! Was it a bad trip? What are these odd little creatures. This tale is certainly only something that could come out of Ohio.
